Commercial buildings are normally required to deliver hot water at 120°F for normal domestic use, but one of the most common ways to kill legionella is to heat the water to 140°F or higher. This YMCA is a new, LEED certified facility located in downtown Wichita. The facility houses the organization’s corporate offices as well as a new state of the art work-out and activity facility, and is expected to serve 30,000 people throughout the area. Future Schools ProgramAbu Dhabi & Al Ain, UAE

The project comprised of 3 Kindergarten Schools (54 total units) of similar designs in Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Island Kindergarten, Al Shawamekh Kindergarten and Al Rahba Kindergarten. All Kindergartens are ground floor only and accommodate approximately 360 students within 18 classrooms. The gross floor area (GFA) of each of these kindergartens is approximately 5,000 square meters and each was handed over within a fast-track period of 8 months. The buildings have achieved two Pearls Estidama Ratings and will also include CCTV security systems, PA/Music systems and the BMS system in addition to other MEP service requirements such as the fire alarm and firefighting equipment as prescribed by the prevailing government codes. Each building installed one CSI-E1FS unit with one chamber cell to prevent the growth of Legionella bacteria.

The new Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi will take its place as a prominent statement of pride and a symbol of leadership within the UAE and the GCC.
